Premier High School of Brownsville
Premier High School at Brownsville is a very unique campus. Students have breakfast and their break outside under the trees with the view of a nearby resaca (a body of water) teeming with ducks and turtles. The school’s climate is very positive and friendly and even our building is conducive for learning. Our students take pride in being able to attend our school and consider it a privilege.
The Brownsville campus is known for its structure, discipline, respectfulness, and a dedicated staff. The staff works very hard at helping the students become responsible for their independent learning. This type of system helps prepare our students to better meet the challenges of college life.
Students come to us for a variety of reasons–to work at their own pace, to accelerate their education, and because of the shorter school day. Our day classes start at 7:45 a.m. and end at 1:30 p.m. This provides students the opportunity to attend school yet still work to help their families. Many choose to stay after school for tutorial classes.
Premier High School at Brownsville is the only campus that is offering night classes in the RES District. We accept 19- to 26-year-olds who want to obtain a high school diploma. The hours for the evening session are 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Another first was our fall graduation last year, where we graduated 37 students, bringing our total number of graduates to 106, an increase from 57 students the previous year.
